It's 9:25 and I hear fireworks and people screaming outside. This is truly an amazing country. People here waited in line for over an hour to vote. And they didn't mind at all. Viva America. We live in a great country!
tom friedman wrote a pretty interesting column today. he basically said that the words of the founders have now become reality. truly we have shown that we are a country where all men and women can aspire to do anything that they want. nice. this is a time for all to stand behind the selection of senator obama as our new president and fix the things that are wrong. let's be patient and encouraging, supportive and willing t sacrifice, delighted that our republic can be a beacon of freedom of choice. jl
